Hi,
I just wanted to do two things: i) publicize a 160km or 25km charity ride that is taking place in Toronto, Canada on September 9, 2007, and ii) see if there are any generous souls who might be willing to sponsor me (for the 160km or imperial century) ride?
The ride is called he Ride for Karen (www.rideforkaren.com) and it raises money to help people battling cancer. The ride has been going for 5 years in memory of Karen Tobias. This year all proceeds are being donated to three childrens cancer camps. To date, the Ride for Karen has raised close to half a million dollars!
Anyhow, if you live close to Toronto, why not give it a go? If you don't any donation would be very much appreciated. Donations can be entered online at www.rideforkaren.com. Please go to the 'sponsor a rider' tab and enter my name: Quentin Hamilton. The best part for you is i) you won't get all sweaty doing the ride, and ii) donations are tax deductible!
