Thanks!
Unfortunately I had to sell before coming to California. I wish I had the chance to do it up properly (I was running Record cranks and Dura Ace hubs - gasp!) but time and money were not on my side. I hope to buy another fixie soon!

I don't have quite the physique, or a time trial bike, or Zipps, or even a nice background--I don't even have someone to take the picture for me--but here's my copycat image...

Not stinky, with tool of my trade.

Medium stinky. I'm holding a CD. It's a private joke and I'm too lazy to take another photo. The DeRosa is now retired, replaced by a Dean Ti.

Stinky Bonus: my new companion. Sorry about more male nudity. Full frontal, no less.

I said men, Drew. MEN. You guys posing like that is tasteful. If I did it, my IBTs, although itty bitty, would get this thread shut down. But Jason's pic doesn't expose anything. So, quit your stalling...:p

I'm a classical nerd, but that includes sessions and anything where the music is actually written out.

Ain't nothing nerdy about classical.

Ah, to someday have time to become sheet music-fluent. I stumble along and flail about.

/Electric bassist...but have always wanted a 4/4 double...even though, at 5'10", I'd have to reach pretty high to tune the dang thing.

The wife has been getting into large format photography. (I have zero tech-mo-logikal skilz, so I rely completely on her to take pictures.) She practiced on me and "the project bike", which is finally complete. At this point, my level of stink is neutral. My level of dork is uber-high. (Hey, the pic looks dark since I messed with it. Oh well. It started as a 4x5 negative....)

http://www.thebluesmokeband.com/images/bri.ss.bike.cropped.jpg

Here I was likely a tad stinkier, as it was early morning on a train in New Zealand and I had already cracked open a beer....

http://www.thebluesmokeband.com/images/bri.nz.train.jpg

Total stink-o-rama, as we posed with our friend John in San Luis Obispo. That's Tanya on the left (the wife with mad photografik skilz!), me in the middle, and my Brooks saddle in the foreground:

http://www.thebluesmokeband.com/images/bike/three.thinkers.jpg

And my riding buddy Virgil (onthevirg) can be seen here finishing up a tire fix, with my Fuji Touring bike holding up a tree -- because it's probably heavier than the tree! Virgil would certainly agree that he was pretty stinky at this point:

Ok this is a fun thread... guess I'll participate.

OK, I started out as a small dirty child. I've always like playing in dirt!

From small dirty child to old woman - last year on my 55th birthday.

Back to being dirty (note: I am never stinky. I do not stink!). Riding in Limestone Canyon:

My favorite rides... first the Mtb bike... new and clean. It hasn't looked that way since!

and the roadie - on my Montana trip taking a breather. Riding with my new custom CK wheels:

Well, I'm starting really early to try and make it to the lifts, so I may miss meeting you if you turn around at GMR. Regardless, I'm sure other BFers will be there making you feel welcome! :)

I've done five so far. In a couple of years. I did the whole internet ordination thing on a lark, but then I was like, "hell, why not do something with it?" It's fun, and it gives me warm fuzzies to be a part of something so special for the bride and groom.

The wedding pictured above was this last June, and took place in Lake Arrowhead; you can't tell in that picture, but the lake is right behind me.
