I first logged onto the site a couple of weeks ago, but have been on holiday so this is the first chance to introduce myself.
My name is Andrew, I live in Darlington which is in the North East of the UK. I'm 22. I first posted a question about a bike I got from a shop up the road from where I work (if you remember it was the one that had 10 gears and I could only get it into 2 of them!!!) Anyway I've just ordered myself a new bike, a Raleigh Stonefly. Probably nothing brilliant compared to the bikes that you guys have but it should do just fine for me.
I intend to go back to the shop tomorrow and see if I can get a refund on the other bike, its been a problem since I got it.
1st problem - Kept slipping out of gears and changing was very hard work. They fixed this.... or they say they did!
2nd problem - The valve on the inner tube was leaking air and had to be replaced. Not very expensive but more annoying than anything else!
3rd problem - Was riding home from work on Friday afternoon and the chain came completely off whilst riding up the biggest hill in town. Luckily managed to get off onto the pavement (sidewalk) whilst a bus was passing me, but it could of been worse.
Anyway enough of my problems........
I look forward to spending more time here!!
