made a trip to my lbs (city bike works, citrus heights CA) and came home $170 lighter lol
first off body geometry mountain bike grips

made a nice difference, mainly with the stock grips anytime my hands were slightly wet (sweat or after taking a drink) they would be slick, that had to go. these also are more comfy and let me keep my hands on the bars for much longer time periods
next up was hemisphere ex tires

much much smoother ride over the knobbys, slight increase in cruise speed but not much.
the other $100 was spent on a bike rack for my car, tubes, and some matinence lubes etc.
btw i did 15miles today like it was only 10, so im gonna increase my daily ride to 15 a day now. current odo on the new bike is 130miles

Awesome bike! Those grips, are they just rubber or what? They look nice!
