I took 50+ pics from one of our local rides-Dog Days of Dallas this past weekend and the webmaster has posted them. We had about 125 riders. Only two crashes that I heard about!?!? One was where a local hit debris about 12-15 miles into the ride, fell and bounced across the lane into another rider. We were about 3-4 across at that point. He slid into a row of mailbox posts and hit his back. He also slid into one of my cycling buddies rear wheels and broke two of his spokes. Riding in groups!!!!! The second crash was in small group and a classic crossed wheel.

Typical July Dog Days Day in the Carolinas.......high humidity, sunny skies with temps reaching the mid 80's by end of ride for some.

The pics are not edited so some are blurry (what you get while you're riding and taking pics) and they are also not in order. We had pizza and watermelon at the end of the ride.

Coincidentally we actually had several dogs in attendance in support of the local animal league. In fact we contributed about $1500 towards the effort.

My favorite pic is where I was able to get the 3 collies to look at the camera. The middle one was a camera hound anyway-even looked when I was taking one from behind them........
