I found that I am more comfortable with them a tad loose. I adjust the velcro straps so they feel like they will stay on my feet, but not too snug.
If they feel too small, no reason not to take them back.

Please keep the questions coming. We are clydes with an excess of testosterone, so we like to have things to argue with each other. :-)
If the shoes are tight, return them. Your feet will swell as you ride.

I wear 11 or 11.5 shoes and boots. I bought a pair of Nike MTN bike shoes, didn't look at all at sizes, just kept trying them on 'til I got a pair that was comfortable. They're size THIRTEEN! Your experience may vary. But were it me, I would not count on shoes that feel tight to ever get comfortable.
Thanks guys, I returned them and got the larger ones, they feel so much better. :)

I see your from Pa too, but the better corner. I am just east of Erie, so get lots and LOTS of snow.

Glad to hear you got larger ones. I was riding the other day and had overtightened the straps on my shoes. About 5 miles down the road my foot was completely asleep and I had to stop and let the bloodflow return. No fun.
My toes felt a little numb this morning (along with other parts) Glad I went with the larger size.

I answered on you qeustion over in other forum, but wanted to say nobody is sick of questions. As clydes we all feel a little bit the "underdog" of the cycling world and love to help other clydes get involved. Ask all the questions you want.
