I have had countless "TdF winner prediction" discussions with fellow riders while riding in, and since, our return from Italia 2 weeks ago.
After watching today's coverage, I don't care who wins. Just want to see more killer finishes like today.
If you have not yet had the opportunity to see, or hear - I won't spoil it for ya.

You do know there's an entire TDF forum devoted to the race right?

Yes exciting, except the tempo was a little slow. The ending was awsome, but so was stage one and stage two.

Are you all in Phx getting in sufficient ride time in that heat?

I was down there about 5 June's ago, doing a "domestique week" for a friend who was riding X-country for charity. You might know him. He is prominent in the cycle/tri community.
I remember 113 degrees air temp, and a ground surface temp 122, and 98 degrees at 530AM.

I remember my eyelids sticking closed caused by wind and dehydration. It also marks the only time in my life that I drank 3qts. of Gatorade at one time.
