check out the closeouts and super bargain basement sales at nashbar. Sometimes they unload NOS 80s stuff that's been lost in the catacombs of diadora for 20 years. Your nearest old school LBS may have something in thier tombs too.

I want the benifit of stiff road shoes for long distances, as well as the ability to ride in street shoes. plus i prefer hot pink to astronaut style any day.
