This recovery stuff is fun!!

I just finished off a whole cherry pie.....well a couple small slices may have been enjoyed by others.

I'm now concentrating on the remainder of the Blueberry pie.

My daughter made a huge batch of chocolate chip cookies to send to her Marine boyfriend in Iraq and she set aside several warm cookies just out of the oven for her Dad!! Yum!!!

The longest ride I've done in 2 weeks is 64 miles.

I've played more golf in the last 2 weeks than I played in the first 6 months. The highest score I've had in the last couple weeks was an 81 and shot 75, 78, 70, 72 the last 4 rounds. I even holed out a 60 yard shot on a par 5 for an eagle!!!!

Headed to the beach next week for more golf, food and a little riding.

Not sure when to get serious about riding again. The recovery is just too enjoyable!!!

Wow. Sounds like you had a serious case of burnout going on. Enjoy the recovery. I'm sure you'll be back to amazing us mere mortals soon enough.

Keep eating that pie, jppe. Maybe when you blow by me on Mountains of Misery next year, I'll be able to read your number.

A break is good for the soul. You'll come back stronger and with more desire and probably a couple of extra lbs

I think I need a bit of that recovery, myself. 400 miles in 8 days seems a little much for me.

Here is a famous guy (Al Gore) who has done a little too much recovery lately. Not sure how much pie he has eaten:D
