Northeast - Anybody up in the Lake George area 3rd week of August?

I'm going to be on vacation up there, in Cleverdale at Takundewide, the 3rd week of August. Is there anybody up there up for a ride one day, mid-week at that? I was thinking of an around the lake ride, my guess is around 60-70 miles, but someone correct me if I'm wrong. Up the east side and down the west, maybe stopping at the Algonquin for drinks and a pick up by my wife in the car or my friends in their boat.

I wish I was going. We usually go up on the 4th of July but for some reason we didn't go this year. The ride from Lake George to Ticonderoga is suicide on that weekend. Once you get past Bolton Landing the traffic thins out and the climb up Tongue Mountain is great.

My neighborhood but I'll be in NC that week.
60 or 70 sounds about right if you are stopping at the Algonquin. I think a full lap would be about eighty.
Here's a fun shorter loop for you to check out, goes right by Cleverdale. You can add on Pilot Knob for an extra 8 or so...

Zacster,
I'll be in North Creek from August 13 to August 20. I plan on visiting Lake George while in the Adirondacks. I'm not sure if that overlaps the timeframe that you'll be there. Or what kind of riding you are looking to do. I have a road bike, but it's a heavy steel touring bike, so it's not very fast (although, I think I've got a pretty good engine!)
