Between DART (the public transit) and my bicycles, there's no way I'll need a car for getting around town now that I'm back in Dallas! OKC was really hard to do car free since there was not much public transit to speak of. I don't have a car as it is, but I'm not getting one. At $40/month for unlimited public transit (for rainy days) and my bicycles, I can count the saving! If I have a spur of the moment trip I need to take that DART or my bikes won't cover me on, my neighbor has allowed me the use of their car for those (and only those). I'm glad to be able to join this club. My main job (a pastorate) is across the street and my p/t benefits providing job (starbucks) is only 2 miles away!
