Does anyone know of a LBS that is reputable and has the staff for a really good bike fit? I had my bike fitted when I purchased it almost two years ago in Dana Point. I want to be re-fit for a more aggressive riding style now. I don't really want to drive from Murrieta/Temecula to Dana Point (construction on the Ortega!) if one of you out there has had a really good experience in my own backyard.
I know Don's Bike Shop in Rialto has a fitting program.
go to redhawk bikes off the 79. that's where i bought my bike and they fitted me there. they had the computer and the measuring thing. it at least looked professional and my bike fits.

I know the place. I'll stop in and check it out. Anyone have any experience with IE bikes?
i.e. bikes is pretty knowledgeable and they do good work, but the dudes there all have the 'too cool' attitude and just aren't very friendly. the guys at redhawk are waaayyy cool.
I'm a fan of RedHawk Bikes too but did recently go South to have Eddie B do a fitting for me. Eddie B is a bit of a legend-coach/national champ and he had me come down to the velodrome in S.D. for a fit. It was not high tech but he spotted a few things right away.

I've bought all of my bikes (except the tandem) from Dennis at Redhawk... they are awesome but their fitting system is computer based and doesn't take into account anything unique about the rider or their style. I had my basic fit done there and it was fine but I ended up having a full fitting done recently and it was a pretty good improvement. If you do go there, tell Dennis that Tracy and Jan say "HI" that we're talking about him on the forum ;)
You may also want to try Cycopath on Rancho California.... Les is the owner, pretty grumpy but lots of experience... not sure if he does full fittings but I did have him help me with a cleat fitting that helped.

yea, i totally forgot about cycopath. i only went in there once and they also weren't very friendly. when i went it was when i was in the market for a new bike and they just weren't friendly or helpful at all, so i decided not to give them my business.
