It looks like I'll be making a fixture at work out of grade G7 Garolite. THis means I need to machine several pieces of this material. Does anybody have any advice for working with this stuff?

Garolite. Sounds like some weird **** from star trek.
Is that a gay flashlight?
Gayrolite.
If this is what I remember, I worked with the company that had a patend on a composite made partially of garolite. I got to see how they made a truck cab out of the stuff for the army that the whole engineering team could stand on. Yet, with armor it weighed less than a standard truck cab the same size without armor.
The stuff it pretty easy to work with, but don't inhale dust from grinding it. It can really be well used in the form of a composite, but it may be more work then you're willing to put in.
