Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Does anyone here live in the MIT Tang Residence Hall?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Weird question indeed, but I will explain the mystery when someone can answer yes to this.
given the odds, the mystery will be solved in approximately 23 years.

You saw a fixed gear outside the residence hall. It had some significance that identified it as having been mentioned on or influenced by BFFSG.
You might go to MIT, but us "normies" are still smart, at least functionally. Is Tang Hall named after Tang the drink?
incorrect, the true story is far complicated

You got tanked and crashed at some girl's place who rode fixed, and who happened to live in Tang Hall, or so you think (fuzzy memory). You were still drunk when you left the next morning and can't remember her name or what room she was in, but in a moment of horror later that day you realized that you had dropped a DVD-R in her room that contained critical and irreplaceable research that factored into both your masters thesis as well as a side project that the Defense Dept. has shown interest in. Also having shown interest in this information is an underground terrorist cell that, pissed off that you would not sell them the information directly, has been trying to take it from you by force, ransacking your room and compelling you to keep the disc on your physical person. Now it's a race to find the girl before the bad guys get to her first.
How was that?

How was that?Starring Will Smith, Gene Hackman and Rachel Weiz, with a special appearance by Charlton Heston as "Senator Eugene Kligger-Stivak.".

You forgot Jason Biggs as the misguided lab assistant.

Damn, that's way too long to use as a signature. :roflmao:
I live really close to MIT, could that be of any help?
Nevermind guys I figured it out. I got sent a shipping confirmation from IRO for something I definitely didn't order. I thought they just messed up and somehow put my name there, when in reality I'm pretty sure they got the name right, but somehow emailed it to me rather than him (we share the same name). I googled my name + "mit" and his CV came up, with the address it's addressed to.
so howabout youd ditch the jerk role and share the story?

This thread needs a macro. To make it more serious.
