Is there any form of that framesaver stuff in a liquid form?
I noticed most, if not all, are in a form of a spray can and since i'm overseas, won't be able to have it shipped by air.

Boiled linseed oil works fine, stinks a little so do it outdoors, then let it dry for several days before you start building. You'll find a quart in the paint section of your local hardware store for about 5 bucks.

Along those line how about the local and superior tung oil? Just be sure it's a drying oil, and stay away from the products that are short varnishes that use varnish in the base. Get some pure oil, and try it out to see if it will dry in a few days. If not add a small amount of Japan drier.
