With the Birth of my baby boy almost a year ago and his head,neck and shoulders getting strong. The thought of a Burly Trailer comes to mind. I have been commuting on my Six13 and really don't like putting on the extra miles on it on regular Portland streets and bike paths which are and can be full of obstacles. So I took my seldom used Mt bike and sold it to a guy at work and turned the money to Craig's list and Bought a Cdale T800 which is a 2003 model that is nearly brand new and hardly ridden. So Yah for me and a new project bike

Nice. Despite the large aluminum tubing, I think the Cannondale tourers are indeed quite attractive. How does it ride?

With the larger tires and slopping down tube the ride is pretty cushy compared to the Six13 which is all thoroughbred. Its got a wider turning radius but still manages to get around obstacles great. The stock seat will have to go it is way too cushioned and the bike can stand to have some up grades from stock. Over all its definitely not a racing bike but it is pretty stout feeling and with the gearing hills should smooth out too.
