Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - attn crafters: Big, cheap, cool bag

I just recieved one of these (http://www.ebags.com/boblbee/conga_cargo_closeout/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=17926)in black yesterday and I started using it today. It's obviously not a messenger bag but it's pretty comfortable worn with one strap (it has two), and most importantly, it's HUGE! The price keeps changing, I got it for $28 with free shipping with some other stuff, but $32 is still a good deal, if you're into crafting a little bit. I'm going to add some padding to the strap and probably change out the hardware so I can have a quick release.

After using it a little more, I'm not sure it really needs to be modded. Considering a lot of people are using Timbuk2's which don't come with strap padding either...it's not bad.

That's pretty cool that it's recycle material! I'm interested in what can be done with recycled fiber and hemp fiber, and hip/lumbar packs too. They make a lot of sense for cycling, since sometimes you don't want to carry all the much and getting airflow to your back is important for keeping cool.

Yes i agree..
recycled / hemp and any other material that can be reused will be a great for any type of pack .i went with the liumbar pack because i have been using them for decades and i am , well used to them and have several ..

that mountain smith i have a HUGE, comforatble and its very easy to slip to your hip for more airflow to cool your back then when cranking just slip it back into place .

They're pouches. (http://www.ebags.com/case_logic/pockets_153_medium/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=86122) For my cell phone and stuff. I have them hung from the D-rings that are on the inside of the bag. They're very puffy, I think the designer based them on actual sleeping bags. Very cute!
