Hello everyone,

My son will turn 1 this week so I'm in the market for a trailer. I noticed the one that Nashbar sells is not compatable with rear disc brakes. Since I'll most likely be pulling it with my mountain bike that is a problem. Is this normal? Seems like the Burley and Chariot are the most popular, what other brands have ya'll had good luck with?

Thanks

I have a Trek that I picked up on Craig's list that clamps to the chain stay. I've been very happy with it so far.

I have a Schwinn and a Bell that were both made by Instep, the Schwinn mounts via a clip that slips within the skewer, the Bell uses the chainstay clamp. Both are fine products, I prefer the Schwinn with the clip mount, I've got many hundreds of miles on it with my now 3 year old but my 1 year old has been getting a lot of miles this summer as well. Just picked up the Bell off Craigslist for $50 like new this past weekend, I know one of my neighbors would love it... These things absolutely rock! A real good workout when the wind is up though...

Our burley has a mount that uses the quick-release rather than the frame, that might work w/ discs?
