I just saw a show coming up here in LA, and while I've always liked their music, I've wondered if it were worth it to see them live. Any input from anyone?

I went to a show in Jacksonville ages ago at a place called The Milk Bar. Halfway into the first song one of the Johns (keyboards) collapsed on stage. No alternate show date was ever given and we didn't get our money back. I never spent another dime in that place.

Wow, that's lame. I would have been really upset about that.
I've seen them twice. A little disappointing I have to admit. Once they stopped in the middle of a song to chastise somebody who was stage diving. They threatened to leave if it happened again. (Yes, stage diving is stupid, but so is being chewed out by a band you paid to see.)
They also played "Dr. Worm" twice, as if they don't have enough material in the catalogue that they have to resort to repeating songs.
I saw them once like 100 years ago. It was a pretty solid show in a tiny venue.
I saw them twice when I was in high school. Once at a record store and at Lupo's heartbreak hotel in Providence, RI. The providence show was fun.
