But sometimes I wish I was :p.

We just moved to a new house and were without internet, cable or phone for a few weeks. But now that I'm back I got a lot of catching up to do. I quit my job at the metal shop and I now have a pretty decent one. from 10:00am till around 1:00pm I help mentally challenged people gain some basic mechanical knowledge and skills by helping them wrench on old bikes, then from 1:00 till 5:30 I work in a different part of the shop as a mechanic. The money is a lot less, but the job is a lot more enjoyable. I built up a new mountain bike as well which I'll post pictures of later.

I also sold my Bronco to fund my WRX and I'm riding everywhere now, I pulled down 36km yesterday on my MTB and 49 on my BMX a few days ago. The fixed gear is still down as I need to find a proper lever for a bullhorn handlebar so commuting on that is out of the question.

I also took quite a fall on the weekend, I was on a friends dirtbike coming up on 80km/hr when a deer jumped out in front of me. I ended up swerving and hitting a bump, it's all kinda blurry from there on in, I broke my helmet resulting in a concussion and dislocated my knee along with getting some cool looking flesh wounds on my leg. I also hurt my hip, again, so I'm going in to get that all x-rayed in a few days. The bike is fine other then a scratch on one of the plastics.

All in all the last two weeks haven't been to bad, other then it's currently 31*C in the house, and 37*C outside. Did I miss any updates or big news?

Wow. That is a lot of stuff going on. Congratulations on the new house and the job. Sucks about your new injuries. Just enjoy that no matter how badly you mess yourself up, it won't be as bad as what I did to myself. Good luck with everything new. It's good to have you back.

Ya, the last two weeks have been pretty hectic but well worth it, I don't know how I managed to survive the fall as good as I did. I think my fat ****ing belly absorbed most of it.

Also, new bike action:

And in about three weeks I'll have new scar action too, the scrapes are nothing, all the damage is internal:

Yeah, the scrapes really aren't too bad and probably won't leave much behind.

Do you really need another bike?

well in new news, the new bike check thread is not very full of bike checks. That knee doesnt look bad on the outside, internal sucks because you dont know how bad it could be. nice bike. That is a hot house and mine is like 87*f. a wrx is a subaru car right? and how do you mention to do 49 on a BMX?

I've actually really cut down on how many bikes I own since I moved, this is currently the only MTB I own. Ya, the WRX is made by Subaru, 245BHP, and I've got a few things done to mine so I have a couple more horses. And the 49km on a BMX did suck, but I got through it and I'll end up doing it a few more times most likely.

Yeah, i had two similar to wtp's on my left leg and left elbow from getting locked into a turndown and some nice skatelite burn. There is a big reddish spot there still after the cut has healed over and barely any hairs growing back. Skatelite and skin don't slide comfortably.

Good to see you back wtp.

I thought Impreza's were 280 BHP?

Welcome back

It's happened on a few things, but this is only the second time I've hit the ground because of it.
