Foo - I am a wee bit peeved..

Yesterday, I wake up out of bed late and frantically try to get a ride in before getting to work.. Get onto the bike path and my mind and body are groan at the unfairness of being subject to labour in their un-woken states.. About a mile in or so, I pass this woman, seems kinds cute and well she is on a road bike what more could one ask for right? :D..

anyway I pass by, say hey, get a "good morning" and continue on.. A little later, I notice somebody is on my wheel and turns out she latched on.. no problem.. I pull for 4 miles or so and boom all of a sudden she sprints past, passes me and keeps on going.. I could have responded but I was pretty close to turning back and I was breathing hard (something about pulling people makes you work harder.)..Besides what I am I trying to do here, prove what exactly by catching back to her? nothing..

But the fact that I got dropped is fine, there are a lot of people who can drop me and lot of women too no doubt. The thing is, no chit chat, no thank you.. no number.. I feel so... so used :cry: ..

Actually it wasn't a slow ride either.. Well depends.. it was my first 19mph day this year.. I know thats not fast but not slow either if you toss in the gentle undulations of mass..

I have a chick friend who just left Barbados to ride a leg on the Tour de France. Just cause she's a girl doesn't make her slow. She will drop me without trying. Of course, that being said, I'm really slow.

Balderdash. One of the ladies in my bike club placed 2nd in the state time trial. She hauls booty. And just cause she's dropped me before doesn't make me slow.

Right on the first.. The second yeah.. My poor ego is just not getting enough time to heal from all the bruises its gotten in the past month form the wimmen.. I think I am going to go underground this summer..
