So two weeks ago I had my Raleigh with chariot cougar 2 trailer out of the garage to get things spiffed up.
went into the house to come back out 10 min later to find the trailer taken off the bike and stolen. Left the bike mind you, simply removed the skewer.
of course called the police, what a FN!!! joke!!! the guy put me on hold several times and once he was done I asked what they would do. With an underbreth-chuckel he simply told me "good luck". Follow up call last night the person I talked with told me the report had not been filed till yesterday, over two weeks! Davenport IA police department at their finest!
course I made up fliers and took them around to neighbors, bike shops, pawns, and ebay sellers in hopes that someone would see it.
I know my odds are against ever seeing it again but the cost of the thing makes me cringe at having to buy another.
Anybody have any suggestions on what else I can or should do?
