I can't believe this. I don't know how a truck would even get on this pathway unless he drove through a park or something. The path runs along a river and there are very few road crossings and they are all blocked by poles to prevent vehicles from getting on the path. Thank god it wasn't a pack of little kids, sheesh. First the cyclist that was intentionally run over and nearly killed and now this; It's been a bad month for SLC cyclists. Scary.

Sounds like the driver was either drunk, or intentionally out to get any cyclist...
Good to see that he's still alive and kicking.

There are at least two roads intersecting the Parkway in that area. One comes from a paved city street, I don't know where the other one ends. Trail also goes across the lawn of an apartment complex near their parking areas, so vehicle access would be easy.
A witness got the license number, but the plates were stolen, so the truck probably was too. Hardly sounds like a model citizen.
