Or not…I bought my Specialized Roubaix Pro almost three years ago, almost being the key word. My buddy, Keith, bought his almost a year later and a couple of months ago he noticed that his rear DA rim had cracks in it. Now Keith out weights me by about 50 lbs (ok, maybe 15 lbs. :D) and I didn’t even think to look at my rims. Well about a month ago I notice the same cracks in mine, so I go out and replace them:rolleyes: .
On a whim, I go to the Shimano site today and read their warranty that says they have a two year warranty except that Dura Ace and XTR, which is three years! As I said I purchased my bike almost three years ago, so I need to get them over to Shimano so they can be rebuild. I talked with Ryan and he said they would rebuild them to the 7801 specs. (Which happen to be the ones I bought to replace my cracked rims), so I’ll have two sets of the same exact wheels:rolleyes: . The good news is I’ll have an extra set of wheels just like everyone else on this forum, so I can finally feel like I belong.:)
Now, if I can only find that receipt from the now defunct Supergo.:o
