Dang, Tom, I can't watch it tonight because I'm running the internet off my phone. I'd have to walk to a different cabin to get high speed. I'll have to watch tomorrow.

Great job!
I think it's inspiring that you decided to do something about your problem instead of sitting back and letting it get worse.

Congratulations, Tom! And thanks for your involvement with this forum. It helps motivate me, and after telling Mrs. Pup (Catmom here, new member) about your story, I now have a riding partner at least for the shorter rides.

Hearing your story and all the other health-improvement/weight loss testimonials here from the rest of the gang is inspiring.

Keep yer spokes tight and your mind loose,
Karl

wow - well done, Tom... Just as everyone else has said, you are inspirational to us all. I was wondering if you had an autobiographical writeup somewhere you could share... Something that outlines how long it took you, how you changed diet, stayed motivated, changed your lifestyle, etc...

I put pics and the news footage together in my ride report as a Montage with Ozzie Osborne's "Crazy Train", by the way!

Here's the thread it's in!:D (Great Lakes Subforum!)

Tom, next time you're on the news, could you kindly mention that both a road bike and* a mountain bike are essential for a well-rounded bicycle lifestyle? May help some of the members here get that second or third bike they want....
