General Cycling Discussion - BIKE ART...where to find?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Wife wants to replace the junk she has hanging on the wall over the sofa with one large picture. I suggested a bicycle themed print and she actually thought that was a good idea. Sweet! I've searched and searched for something that would look nice but I can't come up with just the right picture. Anyone know where I could find some nice cycling related artwork on the net?? Graham Watson's stuff is nice but not exactly what I'm looking for. I had this picture below(from the TdF TTT a few days ago) on my computer desktop and she liked it. Any idea where I could find something like that??

I would recommend you check out a painting by graciela rodo boulanger titled "Tour de France". Boulanger is a master and the print of this can be had for about $60-75. Framed about $150.00. I couldn't find one on the net to show you, but any art store will probably have it in a catalog.
is this (http://www.gingerbreadshows.com/greaterartgallery/gag3.jpg) it?

That's it. How do you get those images into your msgs like that? When you have a free moment could you send me a PM explaining that? thx.
when you hit the "post reply" button, there will be a button in the "vb code" section of the reply form that says "http://" you hit that button and it will prompt you for the text that you want to display. In the reply I made earlier, the text I put in was the word "this". Once you put in your text you click on OK and then it prompts you for the URL address that you're linking to, just put that in then hit OK and you're good to go.
P.S. If these instructions are unintelligible I propose the following excuses:
a) I've never been good telling people how to do something...I'm much better at showing them how to do something. Which is difficult over the internet.
b) I missed riding my bike today and have had a few beers in lieu of aforementioned bike ride.
...but there is hope! You can always ask Joe! After all we are all mere Padowan learners when compared to his omnipotence.

Go to Graham Watson's website
http://www.grahamwatson.com/
and click on "gw store".
Don't know how much you want to spend. His prints are kinda pricey for me. :(

Yeah thanks Ron but "been there, done that". I don't really see anything that I'd like hanging on the wall. This one is real nice but just not quite right....stupid cars......yuk......
