I'm finally ready to start riding in Critical Mass, and there are only 3 more to go.

IT TOTALLY FIGURES. I'm always in way before the curve on something, or just as it ends. BOO.

At least I will get to go to the last 3. I'm just really sad there won't be another Halloween one.

Ok, I've just been told this is untrue. Can anyone shed any other light on this?

There are, if I'm not mistaken, several thousand people who ride in the Chicago CM. Since CM has no leaders, the only way it's going to stop in September is if all of those several thousand people just decide not to show up...

Seems like someone may be hoping to spread rumors to incite its demise. All the more reason to go.

Looks like you fell for it. There is nothing definite about it being the last CM.
Did you see where they buried the story in the print edition, in the real estate section on Friday?

So start planning your costume for the Halloween CM!
