Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - subscriptions

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Is there a 'subscribe to all' feature? Or do I need to subscribe individually to each discussion?

The subscription email feature had a nasty bug, emails would go out, with nothing in them, so i have removed that feature for now. You can still subscribe to an individual thread, but thats quite a bit of work. I'll keep on working on the problem, hopefully i can have this feature back up soon.

Hi Joe,
I'm getting around a little better now. Finally figured out that yellow light bulbs and yellow envelopes mean new posts. That makes it much easier to just browse thru and find new stuff.

The feature I use most, is the "Today's new posts" link under the banner at the top of each page. This will pull all new posts since your last visit. Guests can also use this link to find new posts in the last 24 hours.
If you want to find new posts in a certain forum (ie, the touring forum) click on the little magnifying glass icon next the forum name on the main index page. Same thing as the new posts link, but just for that one forum. Theres quite a few features here, it may take a few days to find the ones you want to use :)
