NZ sporting colours are black and white (rugby = All Blacks), Oz is green and gold, plenty of other examples

The Kiwi (N.Z.) colours in sport are black and silver, the silver represents the silver fern. The National rugby team is known as the All Blacks, the triathlete and athletic teams wears black at the Olympics etc. I think it looks great.

To the best of my knowledge, it does.

Even though the NZ flag is blue, red, and white, their sports teams have traditionally worn black.
