Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Anyone here do some night riding? Any idea for a good headlight? I was looking for something to see with. Any suggestions? I read some great reviews about the Cygolite DualCross. There is this Li-Ion edition. Is it worth it to get the Li-Ion? I hear the battery is really tiny and super light. Is it worth it?
I found this chart. The 200 version is the cheapest. Could you do with the overnight charger, or is it better to go with a smart charger? I found one on eBay, generally is it safe to do eBay? I am thinking that I could get it cheaper used on eBay, but isn't it riskier too? The guy has a bunch of good feedback, almost 100 good, but has one red negative. Is that a bad sign of things to come?
Here is the light I am talking about: It looks crazy cool, and I hear that it can blind people, like motorists.

the Li-Ion not run long time as NIMH but for size gain in comparison!
What's your budget? There's a very wide range of lights and an equally wide range of price points.
Here's a good reference for you: http://www.mtbr.com/spotlight/lightshootout/. It's a couple of years old, but will give you some good info to help in your search.

If you do not night ride frequently get something that can do double duty as a flashlight when you are not night riding. I mostly use a flashlight that clips on to my visor.

I am going to be doing an awful lot more night riding now, so that is why I am looking for something a little more powerful. So I stumbled upon the Cygolite DualCross. From what I understand, the company was started by a bunch of cyclists, and the quality is really good too.
