I just watched Asiemut and I absolutely loved it! As far as I know, it is the only bicycle touring movie made and it is really good. It's about a Canadian couple's cycling trip in the less beaten path; Mongolia, China, Tibet and India. What I liked the most is the honesty of the couple. I could not find a single trace of bs or "Aren't we brave and wonderful?" kind of irritating message.

Is it in English, or in French with subtitles?

Are they speak English or the subtitles are in English?

Too bad it's not in Netflix yet... ;-( Should be a good story.

The DVD of our film ASIEMUT include the English and the French version of our film and some bonus (video bonus, interviews with people we met along the road, pictures and the map of our route).

Doesn't say what language the pictures are in.

Are they talking French and there are English subtitles? Or they are talking English.
It seems that they talk French and there is a English translator in the background, which I find it very annoying.
I can handle subs but not speaking translator ;-)

they are french canadians, so they mostly speak in english, sometimes in french. the french parts have english subtitles and it's not bad at all...

For those of you with Netflix, there is a Brazilian Movie "Middle of the World" that is bike touring film. Its the story of a family on a 3200 km bike trip in Brazil. Its a drama, and its not like they are bike tourists or anything, but they are on a bike trip, and its one of the few bike trip movies that I've seen. I enjoyed the film, maybe you will too.

I saw this a couple years ago at a film festival. An excellent story.
