Are 0.6mm thick tubes going to be okay for normal road riding
or do I need to get 0.9mm or thicker tubes?
They come in different thicknesses? I just go to the store and get a get a Continental tube or whatever major brand they stock.

yes, they come in different thickness and weights
0.45mm - 50g
0.60mm - 75g
0.90mm - 105-150g
1.2mm - 250g
I know 0.45mm are for racing and 0.6mm says for racing & training.
But will they hold up for normal group rinding / long distance etc.
Thanks,

Well, I learned something new today.
My first choice is the Continental Race Lites. I looked them up and the average weight is 70g so they must be .60mm. My second choice is the equivalent Michelin. Both of these tubes last as well as any others I've used and they fold up compactly so I can carry an extra.

How well Continental Race lites hold up? How often you get punctures?
What kind of riding you do - racing, touring, group etc?
Thanks for the input.
I get puctures from thorns and stuff. Last one was awhile ago. Part of that is because I change my tires every 1500-2000 miles.
Normal group and solo riding.
