I'm returning to my road bike after 8+ years of commuting around Tokyo on a Performance Cross bike. Glad to be returning to the world of cycling. Getting really stoked again, reading posts in this forum from all of you enthusiasts!

Getting back on a 15 yr. old Bertoni Neuvoitalia, which I'm slowly customizing to both commute city streets and climb the local mountain highways. Introducing my 16 and 14 yr. old daughters to cycling, and will be doing a 150 mi. 2-day trek with them up to Nagano (where the winter Olympics were) in a couple of weeks. Thanks for all the good dialogue! - rjtokyo

Hey, tell me about your commute. Mine is Yokohama (Aobadai) to Tokyo (Hiroo) which I manage to do about three times a week.

Nagano is a great place to ride! I will be going there myself to race at the end of August.
