Great Lakes - Metamora and Bike Psychos

The Metamora 4x50 and Bike Psychos rides are coming up in August. Has anyone ridden either of these? I am looking for another century-plus ride. I completed the RAIN, not fast, but fun.

Aham rode the Psychos last year. A few of us went up to Wisconsin that weekend for the Cream City Century. I could ride either one this year.

the Psychos ride was top notch. despite where the route starts it is not totally flat. it takes you all the way to Starved Rock and back. there are several little challenging rollers along the way. part of the route that ran thru Ottawa was on some busy roads, but the time was limited. other then that i recommend this ride. well ran, well marked route, well stocked SAG stops, and so on.

i did the 100 last year and may tackle the double this year. later.

I also agree that the Psychos ride is well supported. I'll be doing the 126. I'd love to meet up with whoever is riding this.

Also is anyone riding the Metro Melon ride out of Plano this weekend?

i'll be doing the bike Psychos again this year as i have done the past 4 years looking forward to beat up on you upwrong roadies and wedgies.

I am SO doing this ride!! I will be there... hoping to conquer my second century for the year :D

i really enjoyed this ride last year. my little girl's birthday was (and is again) the day before. so i had a little birthday cake hangover!! it was a tough ride as the wind kicked up near the end. i enjoyed the route coming back along the river. later.

As for me, I'll be on an orange Kona CX bike with slicks.
