Anyone here gone to the Warped Tour? The Wife and I took our 14 y/o daughter and her friend on Saturday. 60+ bands all day long on 7 stages. The highlight was Killswitch Engage. My daughter and her friend went straight to the front of the stage just before they went on. Knowing how rough the crowd was gonna be, I took off after them. Maybe it was just an excuse to get in the pit:D but when they hit the stage and the bumsrush came from the back, I thought the girls were gonna be crushed and I did my best to create a buffer zone for them. But they hung in there for a good 20 minutes before her friend was about to pass out. We got her out ok, and it was the highlight of the day. A little father - daughter bonding in the moshpit:)

I have never heard of the Warped Tour being a parent/child event.
Thats pretty cool.
I didn't go, but man did I want to see Alesana and Blessthefall though.
I went last year and it was a blast except for starting to heavily lean towards emo bands. This year confirmed my fears and I didn't bother getting a ticket. Maybe next year will have more bands I like. Glad you were able to enjoy the day with the family though
Flogging molly is an odd band.

Not if you listen to the Irish punk I do. I wish they were playing the Tour that came to my area.
