"TransIt Rumble Seat" opinions?

Does anyone have any experience with this item? How does it compare with department store cheap products, and high end items like burley?

I saw this on sale at Performance Bike. They say it is regularly $300, on sale for $220. They want $20 for the stroller kit.

I have been leaning toward a Schwinn at Target, but this skirts the top of my price range.

actually I have the schwin from target (got it on sale for $70~, may have been a bit more). works great. I personally dont see the need to get a more expensive one UNLESS it had sum sort of suspension. unfortunately I have to go over some speed bumps when I take the kids to the park....seems kinda rough on 'em

Why even buy new , look in craigslist in your area. There are so many used ones that come
up for sale. Most people only use them for 3 years or so then want to unload them.

Everybody says that, but all the ones we found before buying new were being sold by people who wanted to recoup their 'investment'. Friends did score a burley for $25 at a goodwill shop in deepest darkest nowheresville but that was a 3-4 hr drive each way from home, across a mountain range.

It's like the elusive 1 yr old car w/ 15k miles on it priced at 75% of list (we actually did find one of those, one time only).

yea, I've looked around for a used one (craigslist, local ebayers, goodwill). No luck so far. My town is smallish.

I have had this one for several years now and I think it is great. $79.99 is a reasonable price and it is very good quality. Good luck.
