I feel just like the proud papa, with the new addition to the "family" ... even took some time to clear aside some space in the apartment for the little "fella". Bought a Trek 7300 after some good experiences renting on vacations.
The ride suits me, especially on the rough NYC streets. Did test rides of an FX and a Sirrus Sport, but kept coming back to my original choice.
I've added a few Fred accessories -- rack, kickstand, water bottle holder (well everyone needs those). Now I just need an airhorn for all the airhead pedestrians on the Brooklyn Bridge.
