Hey,

i am coming to london for about 5 months to study and i would like to have a bike to ride. at home in the states, i ride a sweet little fixed gear conversion that i love dearly. i am considering bringing it along with me on the plane. but, after poking around the internet a bit, this seems really complicated. i am considering the following options:
1- sucking it up and bringing my bike from home which is absolutely perfectly suited to me and my biking preferences and hoping for little fees and frustrations
2- getting a cheap bike in london and selling it back at the end
3- taking the components and wheels from my bike off and taking them -but not the frame- with me and then getting a new frame to throw them on in london.


any advice on this?
