Hey, i just ordered a sun double trakc with a deore disk hub. I told the guy at the lbs that i was gonan run v's and he said thats ok, but i have to get the disk hub.

Anyway, i've been looking at bikes lately and i can't seem to see any double trakcs that have a spot for the v's. Is it possible?

Don't really see a machined braking surface. I'd send Sun an e-mail and ask. I think they're disc-specific.

I had double tracks on my Banshee. The are disc only rims. They do not have a brake surface. You lbs guy is wrong.

Are you sure they dont have 2 different types of rims? If no it looks like i'll be puttin disks on my bike haha. Not complaining but i shouldn't be spending so much $$.

I posted a Doublewide, you listed a doubletrack! Don't know the difference. Couldn't find info on the doubletrack. I'd still send Sun an e-mail.

The double track is the same as the Mag-30 just differant material. The mag's are also pinned and welded, the D tracks are just pinned.

Neither a Doublewide or a Double track will work with rim brakes. The DTrack has no surface for it and the Dwide is to wide.

If you want to run v-brakes you should look at Mavic 521's.

DoubleTrack and Mag30 are one in the same

And this is the DoubleWide

Look different to me!

The Doublewide looks like a three box section rim, whereas the Mag 30 looks like a single.

Still like Mavic's better. (Sacriledge from an Intense owner, I know! but, oh well)

The DoubleTRACK and the Mag30 are the same. The DobuleWIDE is different.

Why did you order a disc specific wheel when you use Vs? Most pre-built disc wheels have disc specific rims on the disc hubs.

I was told it was compatible.
