I don't get it. Kloden has a fractured tailbone and he can ride with the other GC contenders in the mountains? What sorts of painkillers are allowed by WASA and UCI? Anything stronger than Advil?

Or is his tailbone not really fractured, but just bruised, and he's playing possum?

Or is he just that much stronger than this year's GC riders?

Kloden is a strong tough rider. He would be a big star if not for Lance and Ullrich. Out of all of the riders he is the one I would not like to have crack.

I think I have been agreeing with reef58 too much the past couple of days. :eek:

Kloden is one of the only truly proven GC contenders - he possesses both climbing and TT abilities. Let us not forget that he also has a pretty solid team around him.
