I have searched and didnt find much on them. I have been looking for a new wheelset because mine are bent to hell. I looked on danscomp and found alex mx-22s. Then i saw the easterns had a cassette hub so for 10 bucks more I thought it would be better. Which ones will hold up better I am kinda hard rims, but not to bad.

If you are hard on rims, those are definitely not the rims for you. Save up and buy something good. If you are on a budget, build something up with a Hoffman Generator rim. Those rims are only $40 and are very nice.

The MX-22 I had on my front held up to some nice nose cases.

You can have smaller gearing, and quicker engagement. Plus they are stronger depending on the one you get.

The only way you can run smaller gearing is if you have a 1-piece driver. And if you get a 1-piece driver can you run a bigger gear, like 39-14?

Ok thanks guys. I will prolly just go with the mx-22 if they hold up better my friend has them and has had some times where my rims would have just got bent so bad i couldn't ride and his didn't bend at all. I can probably go without the cassette hubs considering I always have.

I guess thats true now that DK has the 12 tooth freewheel out.
And if you have a 1-piece driver you can only run the gearing that the driver is suitable for, you cant change the ratio's.

The eastern cassette is pretty decent. My buddy has one and it's smooth. The rim is fairly strong too. But make sure you get the sealed Eastern cassette, not that crap one that's real cheap.

12 tooth freewheel? You're going to need to get a bunch of 'em because the bearings will last like a week.
