was looking into building a pursuit based frame with the curved seat tube but having trouble figuring out if the frame builders are bending them, or if any of the tubing manufacturers produce them?

Henry James carried A TT "Aero" set with a curved st for quite a while. Don't know if it's still a regular stock item though.
FWIW, every curved st I've seen in person was a custom bend done by the builder- Including the one I brazed up today.

ps- gotta be careful how you do the bend if you want it to conform to UCI regs.

are you building a 2 part wood press form, or some sort of tubing bender?
i would love to see a pic...?

I don't know if they still make them, but True Temper used to make a fully aero tube set with an "S" bend seat-tube. We used them extensively while building prototypes for KHS. Albeit, that was years ago. What other places have you checked?

I've got a custom frame that the frame builder hand-bent the top tube.
It can be done but is a bit risky on thin or butted tubes.
There is a thread on bending tubes on the Frame Forum:

just do a search ...
