Live in Wichita but travel out to Southern California once a month for work. Decided to start riding in the evenings instead of going for food and drinks. Hopefully the end result is losing this belly instead of growing it even larger.

If Kevin is looking, this is Ken Bishop. I can't remember your login. Thanks for showing me around Whiting Ranch and for how to dance with a tree. Holler if you want to show me the "eerie" trails.

Ken

Oh ya. I'm just back into riding this year after not haven ridden for 4 years (divorce, job change, new marriage with 2 more kids.) I'm working on building the lungs and legs back up while trying to lose 45 lbs.

Back in Wichita, this year has been wet, wet, wet. We've been stuck on the roads and paved bike paths so I've spent a lot of time on my Trek 5220. My offroad mount is a Trek YSL 300. Both are circa 1996 (big bonus that year) and have a lot of miles and tender loving care in them.

I'm renting a Yeti 575 out here is SoCal. It is an ok ride but isn't maintained nearly as well as my bikes are. I'm staying within a few miles of Whiting Ranch on Bake. I spent 3 days riding El Morro Canyon (Crystal Cove) and then rode Whiting last night. Thanks to Kevin for showing me around Whiting. Thanks to Michael for showing me around El Morro.

Happy trails!

Hello Ken, sounds like an interesting commute you've got there! Good luck with the weight loss and general getting back into shape :) .
