I was until 2001. While I mtn/biked to work and school when I was there, I didn't own a road bike. Now in Ottawa with the valley all around me, it's really Flats-heaven. :)

For all of the 25 years I was there in Halifax, I never looked at the roads as cycling routes. For all the roadies, what great rides did I miss out on?

Rode thru Middleton last week,
stayed at White's campground.
Everyone along the way in NS was pleasant and accommodating,
Thanks for a nice ride.

I've been here for 26 years and I'll be here for 8 more days.

Halifax is great for cycling for the most part. You can get up and take any road from the rotary and get on routes of various lengths and difficulties, although there are no flats. The only pain is the Macdonald bridge bike lane which is the most poorly designed road work I've ever seen.
