So these are sealed and you don't need to put any grease on these? Just lube the threads and screw the new one in? If so this is just too easy.

Make sure you grease and torque. If you ever remove it, it's often easier (and less damage-prone) to remove the cartridge BEFORE the NDS cup.

HOw is it less damage prone that you take out the right side before the left?

It can be easy to crack the plastic cup. I've done it several times, but I'm an idiot.

When you pull the right side out, you take the tension off the let side cup.
