There are two places where I can park my bike which is a new entry level road bike. I have 2 D locks.

1. Indoor but my locks are short so I can lock the front wheel with the frame. And the back wheel with the bike pole but none of the locks links the frame with the pole.

2. Outdoor with a roof. I can lock one wheel with the frame. And the other lock goes through the other wheel, frame and pole.

Which option should I take?

Check out the other parked bikes. Try to park wherever there are nicer bikes that aren't locked as securely as yours.

If I park indoors, the reason would be because of less 'damage' such as accumulation of dust and dirt and what have you done to the bike.

My bike sleeps within 5 feet from me. There's a knarly blunt instrument in between should anyone try to grab it.
