I have a Trek Y22 frame, a '96 I think (and don't mention Pacific Blue) The headset is 1.25" and the original forks were Judy XC which I'm not too fond of. Is there an easy way to change the headset for 1"1/8 so I can replace the fork with something a bit more standard?
To be honest this is a semi academic question because I never particularly liked the bike and would have to spend more money than I'm authorised to inc replace the rear shock to improve it and I'm not sure I'd finish with a bike I'd like or behaves like a good modern full suspension xc bike.
