Whereabouts? I'm in New Bedford. If you're interested in weekly training rides then let me know.

There's a ride every weekend. There are different distances available on most rides. There are all different pace riders too. A few rides in your area. Lots of members. Just show up at a ride.
I would go, but I'm sick.

I'm from Cranston, RI. New Bedford is a little too far to go to train! Thanks for the invite.

Oh thanks for the link to the NBW. Hoping to join as soon as I am a better rider. My endurance is quite lacking!

I work in N. Smithfield and they've got some nice hills up here. I usually take my bike to work and ride at the end of my day.

Around the Scituate reservoir is a nice ride.

It's also only about 40 miles from New Bedford. Old Airport road is a nice way to start going west. Don't forget to do President Ave in Fall River both ways. :D

Anyone ride three speeds? I'd like to put a ride together for classic and vintage bikes in Newport. Not a race just cruise around the ocean drive and beaches 10 to 20 miles tops.

Reviving an old-ish thread...

How about the Brown Cycling Club (http://www.brown.edu/Students/Brown_Cycling_Club/membership) or the Providence Velo Club (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/providencevelo/)? The BCC has rides about every day. Some moderate, some not.

There's a few yes, not real big, Try Rt 6 President Ave. in Fall River. It's the best one around. I do it about once a week. There's nothing like it around Rochester/Middleboro.

no there isn't, though to get some good hills try north-east connectoryu, my god I thought I was going to die in that area over the summer.......it was a curving road going up, and it seemed like it would stop
