Hi all,

So I want to install new disc brakes on my Cannondale F900 and get rid of (for obvious reasons) the coda hydraulics that are currently installed. I'm wondering if there are any other types of disc brakes that I can install while keeping my Headshok Fatty DL Disc-Specific fork and Coda Expert Front/Rear Disc hubs. I have not been able to find any disc brakes that have the same 4-bolt rotor pattern.

If this is impossible, then can anybody suggest a cheap hub/disc brake combo that will allow me to get rid of these @*^& Codas?

Thank you!

The codas squeal, which is annoying but tolerable. However the biggest problem is that they are getting old, and it's time that they need new fluid, but since they don't make them anymore I cannot find a bleed kit that will fit my coda brakes.

You are SOL on the rotors. They don't make 4 bolts any more. Best bet is to buy some avids and keep the rotors on there. Or you could get some new wheels.

But... an established Cannondale dealer should have a bleed kit in their toolbox.

That's what I thought about the rotors. Is there any reason why you guys are suggesting Avids specifically?

Thanks for the help.

I think Avids are the easiest to set up and offer great adjustability, power and reliability. If you've got the cash, go for at least the Juicy 7's
