About a month ago, a small patch above my right knee along my thigh was numb after riding. Not really painful, but uncomfortable.
Went to the Dr, and it turns out I have Meralgia Paresthetica, which is basically a superficial pinched nerve, which you can find out more about here: http://www.emedicine.com/neuro/topic590.htm
Nothing serious, and nothing you can do about it --- it usually goes away by itself after a period of time. The doc says it may or may not have been caused by the bike riding, but there's no way to tell for sure. Since then, I have adjusted my seat to be higher, because after a little research I found out it was too low. Hopefully this will help if riding is part of the cause.
Just wanted to share the info in case someone else has the problem...
